After being hooked on a live bait (aku) towed from Capt. Peter Hoogs’ PAMELA, this fish pulled them into the Alenuihaha Channel then dove deep and died. They planed the fish up in the dark and boated it at 11:40 p.m. The fight time was 101/2 hours and this was Kona s fourth grander of 1985.
