Decided to wake up early before work and whip by my favorite spot, Marriot Courtyard Hotel, on the east side of Kauai. Got there about 4:30 am, rigged up my pole with okuma custom menpachi 12′ rod, paired with one diawa bg 4500 15 J braid 7′-8′ 20-lb test line. At about 5:30, this buggah had hit my completely hooked lure “tako extended glow grub”. It took about 5-10 minutes of scrap time to land this buggah. The size of this buggah buggah got me speechless.
